Remote Online Closings in Florida: How RON Works

Kracht Law Firm, P.A. [VERIFY attorney byline] · 4-minute read · DRAFT — pending attorney review before publication

Signing from anywhere

Since Florida authorized remote online notarization, many closing documents can be signed in a recorded audio-video session with identity verification, rather than in person at a closing table. For sellers out of state, buyers relocating, or parties abroad, a RON closing can eliminate travel entirely.

Not every document, not every lender

Whether a full RON closing is available depends on the documents involved, the lender’s requirements, and the parties’ circumstances. Some lenders still require in-person or hybrid signings for certain loan documents. The closing office confirms what is possible for a specific file early in the process.

How the firm handles it

Kracht Law Firm facilitates remote online notarization for eligible transactions, so clients can often close from anywhere in the world. Ask about RON availability when you open your file.
